Can Cànoves
The Can Cànoves farmhouse is located at the foot of the Montpalau hill. Its historical interest consists of having completely preserved the original architectural structure.
The house is from the end of the 14th century, it is the most outstanding part because we find there the square tower. We can also appreciate the small cattle stables, the large cattle stables, three independent buildings and straw loft or the barn. The water comes from a nearby spring.
We can see that the farmhouse has a double-pitched roof formed by three bays perpendicular to the main façade.
We should highlight that the barn that was erected during the 14th century with two independent naves. These naves are covered with a double-pitched tiled roof and open with two large stone arches, where we find rectangular windows with stone lintel and jambs.
